Because we have been freely given the gift of salvation, it is incumbent upon us to “go therefore and make disciples.” In Acts 1:8, we are instructed: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8

Crossroads of Arlington believes that Jesus spoke to the church in Matthew 28:18-20, “And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

So, how do we do that. We reach out to our neighbors, our friends and co-workers; we display Christ through acts of love and charity, lifting those who are down, but most important, giving the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who desperately need it.

Join us in one of our mission efforts, either here at home, or abroad, and be a messenger of Christ.
