Prayer Request
Please pray to the Lord to send me help, because of 20 years of mental illness, we need help. My husband is not helping enough, and we are having financial difficulties, my mother helps, when she can, but we don’t have any other family to help us, for my husband my son and I. I also need direction, to find a Church, with a Pastor, and good brothers and sisters, and friends, or to send them. Also pray to the Lord to send, find, or give me direction to get the help that we need, according to God’s will, and for me, to get along with everybody that God will sent me or find, with peace, to be able to receive help. Pray for God to meet all our needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

Prayer Request
On September 26, 2008 just before midnight my beautiful brother Bruce William Graves "Bill" was murdered. He had moved to New Orleans to help the rebuild efforts after hurricane Katrina. My brother was loved by many and was a genrous soul. The person that murdered him did so for money, money that my brother would have handed over in exchange for his life. 8 and 1/2 hours later a girl named Kristen was also murderd and her purse was taken. She was there to help open food panrties for those in need. My prayer is for all of the people who are involved in these haneuos crimes. I pray for justice for the lives that have been taken. My brothers killer may never be caught but all I can do is keep praying that all the hate and greed will come to an end and that my brother is with his father and at peace.

Prayer Request: Jordan Jamison
Our 13 year old son, Jordan, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on September 5, 2008. As missionaries to Kenya, we praise God that we were in the States when this diagnosis came. We are requesting prayers for a miracle healing of Jordan – complete and total. To the glory of God. Also, for a 13 year old friend, diagnosed the same this year, named Drew. Both children lived overseas as missionary kids and were diagnosed shortly after coming back to the States. Thank you for your prayers for Divine healing. Brian and Heather Jamison

Special Prayer for Sam West's Family
Sam West was one who believed, and he has overcome death. "Oh death, where is your victory, O death, where is your sting? ...... Thanks be to God, He gives us the victory through Jesus Christ". I Corinthians 15:55-57. Though our hearts break for Sam's family and for we, his friends, we rejoice for Sam, who has entered the arms of the One who loved and saved Him. I look forward to joining Sam some day! Please keep the family in your prayers!!!!!

The following message is from Vern Walker. Please keep their family in your prayers.
Pastor Joe please be in prayer and let everyone know that Deb's mom passed away on Wednesday morning around 7AM. She passed in her sleep at home. Deb's dad never heard her struggle or anything so she must have died peacefully. Debie and William are taking this the hardest. I don't have anybody's emails or phones numbers with me so please let everyone know. Could you let Cynthia and James know also.
Debbie's cell is 817-714-4899 and mine is 817-714-4806 I know Deb would love to hear from you during these next few days of waiting for the funeral.
FYI if someone inquires. Deb' mother's name is Naomi Rohrman (65).

Prayer Request
Please pray for April Looney. She has had a possible stroke or some neurological malfunction. It began this past Sunday at church during our second worship service. She is presently in Arlington Memorial, doing well (I visited yesterday). They are doing tests to try to determine what has actually taken place. Her husband is Michael, and they have 2 young children (Dax and Eme). The Looney's have been attending CrossRoads for the past 3 months. Please lift them up in prayer during this difficult time.

Thank you for all your prayers. It was amazing watching God work on April through the power of your prayers. As a result for those prayers, God DID answer them. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!!!!
April came home last night. After days and days of pain and testing, the doctors found nothing, and that was GREAT NEWS. There was a question about a blood vessel they saw in one of the MRI's, however, after calling in several experts and running more tests, it was concluded that the vessel is normal. The tests also ruled out seizures, aneurism, tumor, and stroke. The Doctors are calling what she had a "Complicated Migraine" also called a "Hemiplegic migraine" which develop stroke-like symptoms with sensory and/or loss of strength of muscles that can last for days.
She is still weak, her mobility is almost back to normal, but she is glad to be home.
