We believe that God’s power is released by prayer and we will place a major emphasis on this both coporately and individually.
COMMUNITY
We are intentional about directing people into groups where the “sharing of life” takes place.
HEART FOR PEOPLE
We care about all people and desire to minister to anyone and everyone the Lord might bring to us.
AUTHENTICITY/ TRANSPARENCY
We have all sinned; Christians are saved only by God’s grace, not by their own works. We have real problems and real pain, and we don’t have to hide this.
WRITTEN WORD OF GOD
We believe the Bible is God’s truth and is relevant, powerful, and authoritative for directing and guiding our lives.
SPIRIT’S LEADING
We believe that God’s spirit does lead, guide and direct His church and his people and we are careful to actively listen for His direction.
HEART FOR THE LOST
We make intentional efforts to build relationships with lost people with the hope of leading them to faith in Christ.
SERVANTHOOD
God has uniquely gifted each of His people and we encourage all our people to find a place to serve.
WORSHIP
God desires that His people worship Him and we practice this corporately and encourage it individually.
MISSIONS
We look for opportunities to participate in expanding God’s kingdom in other places through service/ mission trips and financial support/ giving.
CITY REACHING
We believe in the unity of the body of Christ and participate in city-wide cooperative efforts to make an impact in our community and in church planting as opposed to mega-growth.
CHURCH PLANTING
We believe that the planting of churches is a vital way to see God’s kingdom expand, and we pursue this as a congregation.
