Mark Hester

Mark Hester

Mark Hester has been married to his wife Connie for 28 years. Together, they have been blessed with two children: Jenna and Kellyn. Mark graduated with a BA in Education from the University of Texas at Austin in 1984. He works as a Regional Sales Manager for SHURflo Pump Mfg Co. Mark’s passion for God has led him to serve, not only as an Elder, but also in Men’s Ministries and Camp Firelight.

Steve Walraven

Steve Walraven has been married to his wife, Kim, for 20 years, and they have two daughters together: Kathryn and Megan. He has lived in Arlington for over 35 years. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Steve works as an insurance litigation claims adjuster.

In Steve’s words: “I accepted Christ as my savior at the age of 12, I finally realized some of the significance of that decision when I was about 23 and am now thankful everyday that I depend on Him, and I quit carrying the pressure of the ‘world’ on my own shoulders.”

Steve Moore

Steve Moore is a native of the Arlington/Mid-Cities area, and became a Christian while attending graduate school at North Texas State University. After graduating, he met his wife – Debi – while she was pursuing a Masters at Dallas Theological Seminary. Married since 1996, they have one child, Rebecca (born in 1998), who attends Covenant Christian Academy. Currently, Steve works as a sales rep in the commercial print industry for RR Donnelley.

Steve, Debi, and Rebecca began attending Crossroads one year after its inception. Previously, Steve and Debi had worked with Joe as youth group volunteers at Pantego Bible Church. At Crossroads, their desire to serve has offered them opportunities to help in the children’s ministry and youth group. The desire to worship God in an authentic environment has been a guiding force in their journey to Crossroads.

David Winchester

David Winchester

David and Julie were married in January 1991. They have been blessed with two wonderful sons, Daniel and Joshua, and a precious daughter, Sarah. David graduated from The University of Texas School of Architecture in 1992 and has been self employed as a Residential Designer for the past 8 years.

Having prayed to receive Jesus Christ as his Savoir at the age of 8, it was in the fall of 2002 while attending a men’s retreat, where Christ deepen his rescue of David from the wounds of his past and began the recovery of what had been lost along the way..

While still learning each day to walk through this life with a deeper dependency on Christ, he believes each of us bring to whatever relationship we find ourselves in a Kingdom perspective along with the unique gifts God has given us for the ultimate purpose of revealing His Grace and Mercy to a lost world one relationship at a time.

“Julie and I have been attending Crossroads of Arlington since 2007. As I live each day working out my own relationship to the Lord, I have found Him to be true in good times and bad. Because of those experiences, I hope to be a part of Crossroads helping people meet Him.”

Growing up outside of New Orleans and becoming a believer at 13, Michael came to Texas to attend Baylor University , graduating in 1985. He met his wife Julie there. They married in 1988 and have lived in the Arlington area since. They have three children: James, Cynthia & Ellie. Michael has a Masters from the University of Texas and works in the Customer Service/Call Center industry.
